We are a small church, but when you come to Pawnee Baptist Church, you can expect to be loved and welcomed and you can always expect to hear from God's Word.  On Sunday mornings, I preach topical sermons that are 100% based in scripture and relevant to your spiritual growth and journey.  On Sunday evenings, I am more expository, usually teaching verse-by-verse through a book of the Bible. Wednesday nights are more casual and are focused on prayer and discipleship.

Have a wonderful day and may God bless you!

Pastor Joel Dison

Welcome to Pawnee Baptist Church

It is my sincerest desire that Pawnee Baptist Church will be a welcome place where anyone can come an explore a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God our Father, who created the universe; with His Son, Jesus Christ, who gave his life for our salvation; and with the Holy Spirit, who indwells those who place their faith in Jesus Christ.

At Pawnee Baptist Church, we have two primary priorities based on Christ's commands to us in Matthew 22:37-39

  • To Love the Lord our God with all our Heart, Soul, and Might; and
  • To Love our Neighbor as Ourselves

We also strive to devote ourselves to the same things to which the early church devoted itself (Acts 2:42), namely:

  • The Apostle's Teaching (God's Word, discipleship, etc.),
  • Fellowship,
  • Breaking of Bread (The Lord's Supper), and
  • Prayer
